Coach Tim Norman has coached High School Swimming for twelve years. He holds Level 1 and 2 swim coaching certifications from US Masters as well as NFHS coaches’ certifications.Coach Norman has been involved with competitive swimming for much of his life beginning in high school. Tim swam with the Dayton Area Sharks Masters Team and other Master programs as an adult. At the 2022 YMCA spring nationals, Coach Norman finished 2nd in the 500 and 3rd in the 1650 freestyle events. Coach Norman was also an avid triathlete having qualified for USA nationals in the Sprint and Olympic distances in the age group category. He is a seven-time finisher of Half-Ironman 70.3 distance and a 140.6 Ironman Louisville finisher in 2015 (3rd out of water! ). During most of the year, Coach Norman is a professor of Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering at Cedarville University.Coach Norman is married to Robin and has three daughters: Danielle, Grace, and Bethany.
This is my 28th year coaching for Pinecrest Piranhas. Also, coached at Xenia High School for 6 years, a year at Oakwood High School, and 2 years at Beavercreek YMCA 7-8 age group. I grew up swimming and diving at WSU and Pinecrest. I went on to Xavier University on a diving scholarship. Married to Pat. We have 4 amazing children and 2 grandbabies. All swam at Pinecrest.
My name is Will Miller and this is my 4th year coaching for Pinecrest. As a swimmer, I swam with Pinecrest for 10 years, competed with the Coffman YMCA club team for 5 years, and was a 4-year Varsity Swimmer at Xenia High School. I am currently a rising senior at Ohio University studying Media Arts Production and Social Media.
